Specifications

Every rebuild is scoped, matched and checked by me.

Five specifications cover what I do. Most sites need the first four; agencies and groups add the fifth.

Specification schedule
S-01Site importsExact rebuilds of WordPress and hand-coded HTML sites on Keel: pages, posts, menus and redirects carried over so nothing breaks.
S-02Design matchingFonts, spacing, colours and layouts matched to your current site at desktop, tablet and phone sizes.
S-03SEO & schemaTitles, descriptions, canonical addresses, sitemaps and structured data kept clean so rankings survive the move.
S-04Media recoveryImages, PDFs and downloads recovered from the old host, re-optimised and given proper alt text.
S-05Multi-site migration teamsFor agencies and groups: my QA team and I move several sites in parallel with shared QA checklists.

A sample deliverable

Here is the kind of punch list my team and I work through before you see a preview link.

Sample punch listSheet QA-01
  1. Header spacing matches the original at phone size — Nora
  2. Every old URL returns the page or a redirect — Chloe
  3. Titles, descriptions and structured data carried over — Chloe
  4. Test submission arrives in the Keel form inbox — Tessa
  5. Images and PDFs recovered, with alt text — Tessa
  6. Side-by-side check on phone and computer — Rebecca
This is the shape of the checklist you get at handoff. Items vary by site.

Moving several sites?

For agencies and groups, my QA team and I move several sites in parallel with shared QA checklists.

I don't redesign your site. I restore it, then hand you the keys.
